ECE Partners is dedicated to bringing quality research and evaluation to communities and organizations. One of the ways we do this is by mentoring graduate students around ways that their advanced degrees can be used across sectors. Some degree programs have traditionally prepared students for academic jobs – which we love! Still, we want to expose future scholars to opportunities in the public, nonprofit and private sectors where their skills are greatly needed. Examples of non-academic careers include data scientists for biotech companies, CEOs of nonprofit organizations, epidemiologists at public health departments and policy analysts at all levels of government – and so many more!
